Born Jon Rahm Rodriguez on November 10, 1994, in Barrica, Biscay, Spain the 29-year-old professional golfer grew up playing various sports, including soccer, canoeing, and kung fu, before deciding to focus his attention on golf.
He attended Arizona State University (ASU) on a full golfing scholarship where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, won eleven golf tournaments, and met his now wife, Kelley Cahill.
Rahm and the former Arizona State javelin thrower wed in Bilbao, Spain in 2019 and welcomed their children, Kepa and Eneko in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

After turning pro in 2016, winning his first professional tournament at the Farmers Insurance Open and the PGA Tour in 2017 paved the way for what has become a bright and lucrative future for Rahm.
